Founder of The Spirit of Art, Marie takes pride and pleasure in capturing the essence of a particular subject and manifesting it on canvas, knowing that it will last as an edifying eternal memory and an indelible mark on society as a whole.

Katie’s art represents the nature seen around us and emotions within that are expressed with color and images on her paintings. Her latest technique involves painting acrylic abstract backgrounds and drawing images on top with ink.

Born in Havana, Cuba in 1966, Eduardo developed an early interest in art. He wanted to be a cartoonist. That dream did not materialize, giving way instead to more "practical" considerations after he and his family emigrated to the United States.

Doug Wolven (American born; 1946) is a photo/artist whose photos reflect details in the places he visits in California and abroad. As an artist, he craves contrast and simplicity, broad areas of color and a sense of history.

John has been a photographer since 1979 and owned his own camera store and studio in Santa Monica from 1984 to 2008. He loved attending workshops over the years and always thought of starting his own.
